Components of Blazer Library Instruction Services

The Instruction Services at Blazer Library is based on the Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education.  Our Library Instruction Services espouses and promotes Information Literacy for lifelong learning. This empowers users to become lifelong independent learners with the ability to locate, retrieve, evaluate, and use information ethically for problem solving.  The use of information skills tutorial is encouraged to self-educate.  Face to Face instructions include:

  • KSU 118-Introduction to University Learning -Library Instruction Module
  • Discipline Specific Instruction – One shot 
  • Random LI presentations 
  • New Faculty Library Instruction Orientation Workshop as requested
  • Walk-ins
